”Right before the start of the Olympics, we were going to make something about the return of Julie. As Julie was rehabbing next to the court where the Cats were playing, I’ve had already a lot of stuff that I could use for the video. Hours before she was injured, again, we had a small interview and we could start the editing proces. She texted me: “We won’t need it” and I was like: ”Dang… How much bad luck can someone take?”. She didn’t deserve that and she did deserve to be on that podium. After all the countless hours, that’s wild to be in that position again.
After the Olympics, I still felt like we needed to do something with the footage we had. And I guess Julie felt the same way, because as she was rehabbing and working harder than ever, which really speaks to who she is as a person, our ideas came together to create a video about her rehabbing process and her current state of mind. Let this be a new chapter for her: a new club, a new city. A clean slate.”
